These days everyone seems to be on a budget, so trying to spend less on a baby crib is a very reasonable decision, especially because in many cases you'll use it only for a very limited time, and after that period of time, it'll be useless. Unless of course you're planning another baby, or you can give the crib to someone who will need it.
There are many manufacturers, but only a handful of baby cribs can be na called "inexpensive". Of course when it comes to buying a baby crib, besides the price, you need to take a closer look at the product. The most important thing of course is the safety of your baby. Since the safety of your baby is the most important, I've added a short video about crib safety, you can find it later in the lens. When you're sure the crib you want to buy meets all the safety requirements, you can think about other things, like its appearance. Choose a crib that's both safe and fits into your baby's bedroom!

DaVinci Alpha Mini Rocking Crib - Cherry
DaVinci Alpha Mini Rocking Crib is a mini crib that can be rocked as a rocking cradle, or can be locked into position. It features 4 level mattress support frame - you can adjust the level depending on the growth of your little one.
The rocking feature is probably the best part of this crib - if your baby wakes up, you can just rock the crib for a minute or two to get your beloved one back to sleep. If your nursery is small, this crib is a great choice - it takes less space than a full size crib.
DaVinci Alpha Mini Rocking Crib
This crib is a little cheaper version of the crib described above - it can be rocked or locked into position and supports mattress on 4 different heights, depending on your child's height. Great crib, especially if you live in a small house and don't have the space to fit a normal-sized crib.

DaVinci Kalani Mini Crib
DaVinci Kalani Mini Crib is a mini crib that features 4 level mattress support frame. It's both easy to assemble and sturdy. Besides that, it's a small crib that fits well in a small room, so if you can't find some room for a full-sized crib, you can buy this one and your problem is solved. Of course if your baby grows very fast (or you and your partner are tall people), they'll outgrow the crib pretty fast. In that case, I suggest you should buy a full-size one.
Please note that the mattress that comes with this crib is of poor quality and you probably should order at least a 2'' mattress for this crib. Another possibility is to buy a 2'' piece of foam at the fabric store and put it under that mattress. It should work well and it's much cheaper to buy a piece of foam than a 2'' mattress.

Mattresses for baby cribs
Baby cribs (especially those inexpensive ones) often feature a mattress, but many times those mattresses are of low or medium quality. Therefore many parents decide on buying a separate mattress, so their child will sleep comfortably. Before choosing a mattress make sure it will fit into your crib - manufacturers always put dimensions of their mattresses in the product description.
